Res skill...
I got Factions for Christmas, made a Ritualist/Monk, and am currently at Kaineng Center. I picked up a bunch of skills, here is my current build:
Channeling magic: 12+3+1
Spawning Power: 10/11/12, cant remember
Leftover points dumped into Restoration Magic
Skillset:
[card]Bloodsong[/card]
[card]Essence Strike[/card]
[card]Spirit Burn[/card]
[card]Gaze from Beyond[/card]
[card]Ancestors' Rage[/card]
[card]Splinter Weapon[/card]
[card]Cruel Was Daoshen[/card]
???
I'm debating on which res skill to use,
my current considerations are
[card]Flesh of my Flesh[/card], [card]Death Pact Signet[/card], and [card]Resurrection Signet[/card].
People keep telling me that Flesh of my Flesh is the best, but I have my doubts.

Flesh of my Flesh is good if you have a self heal or reliable monks.
Death Pact Signet is downright godly if you aren't playing with idiots.
Resurrection Signet shouldn't even be considered if you have access to a hard rez.
So if you're with a competent group of guildies or whatnot, [skill]Death Pact Signet[/skill]
If you're with a PUG, [skill]Flesh of my Flesh[/skill]

Death pact is the best combat rez in the game. People die, they pop right back up with nearly full health and energy. As for the drawback, it's not a big deal in an organized group. If someone dies twice, your group was most likely wiping anyway, and you just avoided DP. Just make sure you don't use it on people with 60 dp.
Flesh of my flesh is good non-combat rez. On a rit, the cast time and health loss is a bit too much to bear mid-battle, although a mesmer can make good use of it. FomF will let you pop people up very quickly after combat, though.
Rez sig is an emergency combat rez. I can't think of any situation where I'd want to bring it on a rit.

Thanks for the help, guys. I decided to use [card]Flesh of My Flesh[/card]. All I can say is: Best. Rez. Ever.
How's the rest of my build? I'm not currently able to get an elite skill, but I'm probably going to go with an Elite item spell to replace Daoshen. (It won't be easy, I love Daoshen, however mediocre he may be.)

The rest of your build, besides [skill]Bloodsong[/skill][skill]Ancestors' Rage[/skill] & [skill]Splinter Weapon[/skill], are kinda bad.
The direct damage spells you have require a spirit, which is not always guaranteed, and not helpful if you need to do a lot of running.
[skill]Cruel Was Daoshen[/skill] is okay. There are better Item spells however.
But you have one of the better channeling builds I've seen.

For your build, you've only specced one useful attribute line - channeling. You've got room to max out another line like restoration and feel no loss from spawning power (it sucks). Pump restoration, ditch the crappy direct damage spells (cruel was daoshen, spirit burn, gaze from beyond) and add fun restoration toys. I'd suggest looking at vengeful weapon, weapon of warding, weapon of shadow, mend body and soul, protective was kaolai, or weapon of remedy.
The strongest point of the rit class is the ability to bring powerful offensive support and good defense to fill in any gaps on the same bar. If you're not doing that, you're not playing the class to its full potential.
